JUTC Rockfort and Portmore- Fuel Storage Permitting

Projects » JUTC Rockfort and Portmore- Fuel Storage Permitting

PROJECT DETAILS

The Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC), an agency of the Ministry of Transport and Mining, is the exclusive provider of public transit services for the Kingston Metropolitan Transport Region (KMTR). The company‘s operations spread across various depots in the KMTR – Spanish Town, Portmore and Rockfort.

A NEPA permit is required by proposed and existing fuel storage and dispensing facilities. Therefore, CEAC was commissioned by the JUTC to obtain an environmental permit for the Rockfort Depot and an updated environmental permit to include proposed above-ground tanks for the Portmore Depot.
