PROJECT DETAILS

CEAC was commissioned by JPS to investigate two power plants treatment requirements and develop design specifications. CEAC monitored over twenty streams for flow and quality using environmental samplers and flow meters. The effluent characteristics were compared to existing environmental background levels and treatment options for both power stations conceptualized. Detailed scale model test using resin (anion/cation exchange) and pH adjustment were explored. The system will be submitted to NEPA for permitting.
